Tongue Cancer Patients Hopeful After Radiation at VA Hospital
In Houston I visited the VA Hospital where an oss radiotherapist from Baylor College of Medicine reported cobalt therapy and radioactive seeds in my tongue cancer show very good results. The doctor, who has followed the case from the start, said improvement is ahead of expectations and that lingering feeding discomfort is normal. I have regained some appetite after a long decline of about 45 pounds since March. The trip also noted a smogless day and the sight of mobile homes moving toward Louisiana due to hurricane relief needs.
