Texas Water Quality Report Details Surface Waters Data
A Texas Water Development Board and U S Geological Survey report presents 1969 surface water data from 58 nutrient and 26 pesticide stations. It notes sampling at key sites, data variability with conditions, and uses for planning, regulation, and modeling. Copies are available free from the board in Austin. In a 70 year lifetime, the average American will consume the equivalent of 225 lambs, 26 sheep, 310 swine and 50 acres of fruits and vegetables.
