Cuero Jr. Varsity remains unbeaten at 6 0 after a 21 8 win over East Central with key contributions from an offensive line led by Michael Conrad and guards Brownie McClung and Jeff Ray. Quarterback Alan McWhorter connected on an option to Gary Pickens for a 25 yard score and Mitchell added three extra points. East Central scored late in the first half and again in the third but Cuero pulled away in the fourth behind Carl ton Johnson and Mitchells kicking.
