Open Letter Urges UT Austin President Removal
A group named S.H.A.F.T. urges Texans to support the removal of Dr. Lorene Rogers as UT Austin president. They allege mismanagement, punitive faculty actions, and failure to comply with HEW guidelines, contrasting with claims of minority program suppression and funding cuts. The letter calls for democratic selection of a president and cites university wealth and funding concerns.
