Pay Hike Policy Details From Pay Board
The Pay Board outlines new contracts with wage and fringe benefit increases around 5.5 percent, subject to inflation targets. Existing contracts may take effect after the freeze if not unreasonably conflicting with inflation goals, with challenges possible by interested parties or five board members. Retroactive pay is unlikely but may be considered if prices rose before the freeze, and back pay could apply to new contracts replacing earlier pacts where justified.
