Miss Gail Ann Berner and Martin Rincon are engaged and plan to marry. Miss Berner, a May graduate of Victoria High School and member of the Victoriadore drill team, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Homer Berner of Victoria. Groom elect Mr Rincon is a May graduate of Victoria High School and delayed enlistee in the U S Air Force. The couple will wed May 27 at 11 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Victoria.

Miss Linda Ley a Cuero High School graduate of 1972 was honored at a dinner party hosted by Mr and Mrs Alan Bond of Baytown and Mr and Mrs Homer Burke of Gonzales. The May 6 gathering at Sands Steak House Cuero featured blue and white colors and ivy with red roses by hurricane lamps. A champagne toast preceded filet mignon baked potato salad rolls and pineapple sherbet among 20 guests.
