Tim Burt a senior at Yorktown High School has learned his biography will be published in Merit's Who's Who Among American High School Students 1971 72. He is the son of Mrs Eilleen Burt Yorktown and attended Cuero schools before moving to Yorktown. He attended Boys State in Austin this summer as a representative of the Yorktown American Legion Post 272 and is active in Boy Scouts earning Order of the Arrow.

Sager Reunion In Meyersville Highlights Family Gathering
Pastor Adam Sager led a Meyersville Community Center reunion with 111 attendees. The oldest present was Erna Sager 86 of Cuero and the youngest was eight week old Lisa Weishwell granddaughter of Walter and Mrs. Sager of Cuero. Flora Koehler Koehl traveled the farthest to attend. Arthur Koehler was elected president.

Sally Blackwell and her fiancé John Matthew Roberts of Houston were honored at a supper party Saturday night in the Hall residence backyard. Hosted by Dr. and Mrs. O. E. Hall with Mr. and Mrs. Langdon Smith, the event featured potted plants and glowing candles. The couple plans to wed August 4 at the First Baptist Church in Cuero with about fifty guests attending.
