Dallas Quarterback Pick Remains A Total Mystery
UPI reports coach Don Shula named Karl Morrall starting for the Dolphins in the AFC title game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Dallas coach Tom Landry has not decided between Craig Morton and Roger Staubach for the NFC title in Washington, with Morton failing to move the Cowboys past San Francisco in the semifinal and Staubach returning from injury to throw two late TD passes. The weekend winners meet in the Super Bowl in Los Angeles on Jan. 14. NBC and CBS televise the two showdowns with a 75 mile blackout radius in effect for Washington.
