Cuero Opens New Hospital After Years of Community Effort
Cuero’s new hospital opens marking six years of civic work led by the Hospital District Board and steering committee. Funded by a $750,000 bond issue and an $850,000 Hill-Burton grant plus private donations, the project united Cuero, Westhoff, Meyersville and Arneckeville residents.
