Local Construction Update Highlights VFW Home and New Roads
Mrs. George Middaugh of Mid co Construction Co. reports work nearing completion on the VFW home along Yoakum highway. Crews have finished paving at the East Morgan Avenue drive in. Subdivision roads are underway in the Oak Haven addition east of town while trucks haul sand gravel and fill dirt in the Cuero area.

Roofs Installed for Multiple Homes and Lab Addition
A new roof has been installed for Mrs. Herbert Boehl and interior decorating will start next week. A new roof will be installed on the home of Mrs. S G Tarkington next week and new roofs have been put on the James Peyton house and the Milton Jacobs house. On Tuesday the firm began a 30 by 37 foot addition to the Bohman Clinix on West Reuss Boulevard to house a modern lab treatment rooms and storage facilities.
