Stockings From Ziegfeld Follies Found In Peck Peck Vault
A stock of custom made stockings used by Ziegfeld Follies chorus girls in the early 1900s was found in Peck & Peck storage. The items, valued at up to 200 dollars a pair, were presented to the Ziegfeld Club which marks its 35th anniversary. Members and former Follies stars modeled them at a ceremony, recalling a bygone era of rhinestone encrusted hosiery and showgirl fashion.
