Twelve Men Held For Alleged Night Parties

Winter Estate Sale At Creston Highlights Jersey Herd Prices
A large crowd attended the Winter estate sale at Judge P. C. Winter’s farm near Creston. Sixty five Jersey cattle drew strong bids with 38 milk cows averaging over 100 dollars and top prices of 140 and 160 dollars. Two year old heifers averaged around 60, plus calves and a newborn sold for 30. Horse teams brought 167 and 127 dollars, while pigs and corn prices reflected current markets. All cattle TB tested and horses sold at satisfactory prices.
