60 Year Old Man Fends Off Two Bandits in Iowa Garage
Alexander Lindsay a 60 year old resident of Marion Indiana battled two bandits in a Cedar Rapids garage at 2 a m. One robber threatened to pour gasoline on Lindsay and set the car on fire while the other aimed a gun at his ribs. Lindsay wrestled the gun from the assailant but was cut on the hands and struck on the head before the bandits fled. Lindsay and his family were enroute from Coal Harbor North Dakota to Indiana.
