Salesman Found Dead on Highway Near Kenosha
Chicago detective reports the body of Jackson D. Carlisle a Chicago tailoring salesman was found on a highway near Kenosha Wisconsin with an axe wound to the jaw. Police say the body appeared discarded from a speed car. Carlisle had been traveling with a partner and wife who shared a Chicago hotel room that remained unoccupied last night. The missing wife is being sought for questioning. The body showed no signs of robbery with only a small amount of money insurance and a check found on Carlisle. J T Richardson, fireman on the Great Western, was killed when passenger train No 64 and a running freight collided near Arisp e three miles west of Shepherd.
