John L. Waltman born December 22 1868 in McLean County Illinois died August 28 1921 in Winterset Iowa at age 52 years 8 months and 6 days. He moved from a Creston area farm to Madison County in 1902 remained there until death. Funeral at Macksburg Iowa Tuesday at 1 pm burial in Graceland cemetery Creston beside his parents. He married Nellie Trauntwein on December 22 1907 and is survived by stepchildren Edward Troutwein and Mrs Guy Wallace, a sister Minnie Kessler, and five brothers Lyman Frank Edward William D and Link.
