Summer School Set To Open In Creston On Wednesday
Registration for the extension school of the State Teachers' College will begin Wednesday June 1 and run through the first session of 12 weeks. About 250 to 300 students are expected with large interest in typing courses. Fifteen instructors will teach as public school teachers and normal training students enrollable. Credit counts toward a college degree. Local groups back the program and arrange housing and entertainment.

Martin killer and lover found dead in Chicago apartment
Chicago May 28 Werner C. Martins paramour Sarah Rapp was found shot in a south side apartment. Martins suicide in Milwaukee followed his claim he killed her after she forced marriage. He left a note blaming her infidelity and four other men. Police traced his tale and the missing bank funds to Cicero gambling venues.
