Tornado Ravages County Farm Area Killing Local Man

A destructive tornado last night ripped through a county area near this city. Mason Chyla reports 27 buildings damaged on Do not farms between Py moudh and Manley. Prank McCall of Tope Kansas died instantly when debris struck him. Tyford of Worth county was killed when swept up by the twister and hurled, while Tyford and Mexica Senger escaped with minor injuries. Mrs Arthur Dodds, two weeks married, likely will die from injuries as their farmhouse was struck and set afire. the heidesroom recovered consciousness and helped safety. A large barn on the O A Burns farm was raised but no other major loss occurred. The wind missed Manchester to the north.

Lightning bolt kills man near Parkersburg farm

In Parkersburg Indiana on May 27 Geors Kramer was killed by a lightning strike at his farm five miles northwest of town. Local authorities reported the fatal incident occurred late yesterday during a thunderstorm.

Lincoln Neb May 27 A human skeleton was used in the supreme court chamber to illustrate to judges how William D Dailey, who in the tower court was awarded 6101 000 against the Woodmen of the World Building Co, was said to have been injured in an elevator fall from an open shaft door. Dailey claims permanent crippling as several bones were broken and the shaft length is about twenty five feet.
