Matthe ws Still Giving Evidence as three Decatur county veterans Cc R Colton E R Mauss and G Mitchell testified for the state in the district court trial of Fred Teale former Leon banker charged with accepting deposits while knowing the bank was insolvent. J J Matthews receiver of the closed Farmers and Traders bank testified yesterday and will continue this forenoon. The trial began last Tuesday and is expected to span most of next week.

Condition Of Injured Girl In Critical State
Miss Gladys Stephenson of Clearfield remained in critical condition at Greater Community hospital after an automobile crash ten miles west of Creston. Her companion Francis Conway of Creston returned home after treatment. Louis Green of Creston, alleged truck driver, was jailed in bond set at 5000 for failure to report the accident. He was arrested at Council Bluffs and brought to Corning for arraignment. Adams county officers assisted the investigation.

Sunday School Leaders Meet at Cromwell Convention
Cromwell May 11. One o clock registration reached 64 delegates for the county Sunday school convention at the Congregational church. Delegates from nine churches and Sunday schools including Kent Creston Shannon City Afton Dodge Center Valley Chapel Spaulding Platte Center and Cromwell attended. Walter Hutton Des Moines opened with morning talks with Mrs Hutton and L E Crippen among speakers. Rain cut attendance but afternoon sessions were planned with Hutton Mrs Hutton and Rev H H Twyford speaking. The program ends with a musical program led by E F Kinkade and a talk by Rev J Hamilton Woodsum Creston on the importance of religious education for youth. Delegates brought picnics. others were served at the parsonage.

Two men arraigned for intoxication in local case
Two men were arraigned before Justice of the Peace Ross Peterson this morning and fined $15 and costs each on charges of intoxication. They were arrested last night. The county courthouse flag pole is getting a new coat of paint. The pole was taken down yesterday and will be replaced as soon as the paint dries.
