Death of Iowa salesman under inquest at Galesburg hotel
Coroner G S Bower to hold an inquest into the sudden death of J C Anderson a 39 year old Burlington Iowa automobile salesman. Miss Vee Coontz a Burlington girl accompanied Anderson and said he drank before leaving Burlington. The hotel manager said Anderson grew ill and died shortly after a physician left. The girl was put under police supervision and registered as man and wife with Anderson. Anderson had worked in Burlington since September and previously in Des Moines. A woman claiming to be his wife had urged Miss Coontz to stop seeing him, which Anderson denied.
