The Willing Workers of the Swedish Lutheran Church plan a Saturday afternoon gathering at Mrs. Emma B. Johnson's North Elm Street home. A large turnout from the group is expected.
At about 11 this morning at 605 South Street the infant child of Mr and Mrs F T Stanley of Mt Etna Iowa died. The burial will be at Baptist cemetery north of Corning in Adams county tomorrow afternoon with short services at the grave.
A pleasant surprise party was held yesterday at 1108 North Cherry Street in honor of Mrs A S Dudley on her sixty fourth birthday. Neighbors and relatives gathered the afternoon proved very pleasant and Mrs Dudley received useful birthday gifts as delicious refreshments were served.
