Washington May 2 The house adopted a motion by Representative Aswell Democrat Louisiana to strike the equalization fee machinery from the first section of the Haugen farm relief bill. The vote stood 140 to 20. Harrison of Virginia offered an amendment to exempt apples and other fruits from the measure.
