Kiwanis Hears Slous and Guests at Creston Dinner

Captain A. Slous of the Salvation Army spoke on Creston and other areas during the Kiwanis Club dinner at the Iowana Hotel. Dr. M. F Stever added remarks after the talk. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Fouchek and children of 218 North Maple street have returned from a six weeks motor trip through Old Mexico and lower Texas. Local man pleads guilty to assault in justice court

Harold Call admitted guilt to an assault and battery charge filed by R C Bristow. He paid a five dollar fine plus costs after the hearing before Justice John Carson. Call was represented by an attorney. Elmer Burich left for Corning for jury duty.
