Newhall Calif March 14 The known dead list stands at 246 as rescue workers search the San Francisquito canyon area for more victims swept away by the St Francis dam flood. A total of 231 bodies have been recovered from morgues in Oxnard Ventura Fillmore Newhall Piru Santa Paula Saticoy Moorpark with searches across 65 miles of mud and slime.

Funeral services for Theresa King 71 longtime Creston resident were held at Immaculate Conception Church. Rev H V Malone conducted the service with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
