No More War drives for World Court support across nation
Thirty five organizations launch a two day campaign nationwide tomorrow under the National Council for Prevention of War to press for American participation in the world court. The effort marks the ninth anniversary of World War outbreak with protests planned in many countries. Leaders say the movement aims to law not war and action in Congress during the 1924 session. The plan includes speeches, luncheons, church addresses, canvasses, posters, and exhibits with a coalition of ten million members from civic groups labor unions churches peace societies and women’s clubs. The executive board includes Hibben Lowell White Addams Catt Brandeis Ryan Park Pinchot Harriman and others.
