Will Motor to Colorado Points

Chas. Case driver of the Creston fire truck and his family plan a vacation trip to Colorado and Wyoming. They will drive directly to Denver then visit points of interest before proceeding to Cheyenne for the annual Round Up. Elmer Johnson will drive the fire truck in Mr. Case's absence.

Hood sues over promissory note in Union County suit

John W. Hood brings suit against Albert B. Pace and others on a promissory note for 2232 dollars. He seeks unpaid balance plus costs. The case is set for the August term of the Union County district court.

Fisherman Returns From Lake Wabado Fishless

Clarence Coen arrived home Sunday night from a ten day fishing trip with friends at Lake Wabado Binn He claims a two hour fight with a large fish nearly landed it, but no evidence was brought back The group traveled by auto and the tale fits the usual fisherman lore.

In a Sunday Fair Grounds game Corning outlasted Creston 6 to 4 after twelve innings. The crowd saw a tied score in the eighth before four more frames decided the contest. Robinson had 3 base hits for Creston, while Polson, Harkins, and Daniels pitched for their teams in a lengthy pitchers duel.
