Dairyman Walter Brown Drowns in Iowa Creek Hole
Walter K Brown 39 a dairyman living east of Afton died after wading in Three Mile creek northeast of his farm. His body was found in seven feet of water about two hours later. Coroner McKee ruled drowning with no inquest. He left a wife and three children and was survived by his parents a brother and three sisters. Funeral planned for Sunday at the Methodist church in Afton.
