Auto bandits robbed Clearing State Bank in Chicago before noon and escaped with about $15,000, police report. Suspects traced by police along Lemont road toward Lemont. number of assailants and exact route under investigation.
St Louis announces creation of an eight to ten member Junior Police Department for youths aged 12 to 18. Victor Miller, president of the Board of Commissioners, sponsors uniforms and potential paid roles. Juniors would assist the city police, report juvenile issues, and aim to prevent crime by educating youths in tenement districts.
Alaska's traveling federal court will spend part of the coming summer in the Yukon basin. District Attorney R F Roth Clerk H Claude Kelly and other court members left by boat for the adjoined country to hold a session.
