Youth Identified by Picture of His Sweetheart
The body of 18 year old Fred Keith Forney was identified by his father John Forney after a picture of his sweetheart found in Forney's pocket matched an Indianapolis address. Disastrous Fire Destroys Five Buildings in Pulaski
A fire in Pulaski Iowa today destroyed four business houses and a residence. The blaze started in the C A Nusbaum restaurant around 4 0 this morning and spread to the Nusbaum grocery Power Penn oil office C P Darnell harness shop and a Mrs Laura Augsberger home. Bloomfield volunteers aided the locals but water shortages prevented control. Estimated loss about 25000 dollars.

Fire damages farm home of James Wolfe
The Wolfe farm home near the fairgrounds suffered about 1000 in damage from a daytime blaze. Neighbors helped extinguish the flames after the roof caught fire around 2 pm while James Wolfe was away in Creston. A second brief fire at 220 North Walnut street caused damage to bedding and furnishings when gasoline ignited in an upstairs room.
