Ford Sales Meeting In Creston Delivers Instruction

Five Ford factory representatives conducted a two act sales instruction for Zone E dealers and salesmen in southwestern Iowa at the Iowana hotel Creston Friday. Attendees numbered 75 to 100 from the Des Moines area and beyond. The program featured a selling methods play written by M McVicar and a moving picture for dealers salesmen and owners.

Three Autos Damaged In One Street Accident

An unusual accident on North Maple street at 6 15 Friday evening damaged three cars. Floyd Thompson of Creston swerved to the west side to avoid an oncoming car, struck a curbside machine, damaged the steering gear, crossed the street, hit another parked car, and finally veered to the west sidewalk with one wheel up on the curb.

Creston Boss May Move to Ottumwa Division

Burlington dispatches indicate H. D Brown, Creston division superintendent, will likely succeed J P Cummings as Ottumwa division chief. F E Haines, Ottumwa assistant superintendent, may replace Brown in Creston. Cummings transfers February 1 to lead the Quincy Omaha and Kansas City division in Kansas City.

Resolution on Child Labor in Iowa Assembly

State House in Des Moines on January 24 introduced a resolution to ratify the federal child labor amendment. Speaker Edson referred it to constitutional amendments. Rep. Jury Finds Negro Guilty of Murder in Iowa Store Killing
