Three Convicts Escape From LWA Prison
Three prisoners from Fort Madison state prison escaped from the prison farm yesterday afternoon and remained at large into this evening. The escapees are Michael O'Donnell from Polk county with ten years for breaking and entering and three months left, John Hoodier from Jasper county serving two years remaining, and Will Murray from Polk county with five months left for larceny. They left in a state truck around 2:30 pm and a search by Warden Hollowell and posses followed after they failed to report at 4 pm.
