The resolutions committee of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation recommended adoption of a resolution endorsing the all-Iowa farm relief program and urging its adoption at the Midwest conference to meet January 28. The plan calls for an export board to dispose of surpluses, a federal agricultural board to stabilize farming, and amendments to the pure food law to ban discriminations against corn sugar. The committee also urged federal loans for good farm land security, favorable short term loans via Federal Reserve Banks, and expansion of market services and national farm programs.
