Russell Cockburn pleaded not guilty before District Judge W G Bonner on three indictments tied to city hall graft. He was ordered held on $26000 bond and to stand trial January 14. Ill with diabetes, he arrived with two deputies and was escorted from a veterans hospital in St. Louis after extradition fights. His mother father and siblings attended the arraignment. he stated age 28.
