Chicago observations show brisk gains in wheat with December at 1.84 to 1.86 dollars and May around 1.80 as traders priced in rain in Argentina and tighter US balance. Corn and oats rose with weather fears pushing May corn to about 0.85, while provisions followed the grain rally.
Open high low and close figures for wheat corn oats rye lard ribs and bellies at Chicago Grain and Provisions on December 26 with December May and July contract values across wheat corn oats rye and animal products.
Kiesgo reports Chicago cash grain prices with No 2 red wheat at 1.83 1/4, No 1 hard 1.81 1/4, corn mixed ranges 74 77, yellow and white varieties listed with several cents spreads. Rye nil, barley at 58 76, Timothy seed 7.15 7.45, Clover seed 27.00 30.50, lard 14.85, ribs 14.50, bellies 14.75.
St Louis Daily grain quotes show No 2 red at 1.93, No 2 hard 1.841, corn No 3 mixed 0.74, Ow's No 2 white 0.4314. Prices reflect cash grain market values from St Louis on December 26.
Chicago and New York price summaries show firmer butter and eggs with variable receipts. Chicago reports alive firmer poultry, mixed fowl and turkey prices, while New York notes firmer butter and eggs with wide ranges for fresh and storage categories and occasional poultry by freight or express.

The bankers association hosts with state politicians, farm groups, and labor invited as the effort aims to rally business, labor, and ag leaders behind farmers. A national corn belt conference is planned after this meeting.
Two American Near East Relief workers Raymond Swanson and Charles Carroll were attacked by wolves near Alexandropol Armenia. Swanson and Carroll killed one wolf. the other fled. Severe winter weather in South Russia hinders transport of foot supplies for relief workers.
