Siki to Receive Christian Funeral in Harlem
Battling Siki, born Mohammedan and raised a slave in Senegal, will receive a Christian funeral at a Harlem Negro funeral parlor. His bronze body lay at an undertaker as his widow and two Senegalese friends sought his killer. The widow said he lived as a Christian and should be buried as one.
