Salem Lutheran ministers farewell at church gathering
Members and friends of the Salem Lutheran congregation held a farewell for Pastor Rev. and Mrs. W. N. Palmquist at the church last evening. A program was given and the pastor received a purse of money while his wife was given a dozen sterling silver teaspoons. Palmquist departs Creston for Omaha to serve Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Arthur Christensen of Oberon North Dakota will assume duties in October.
