Arispe to vote on sale and franchise for electric system
Notice states a special election will be held in Arispe Iowa on September 11 1925 to decide authorizing the sale of the towns electric light heat and power distribution system and its transmission line from Afton to Elliston to the Iowa Southern Utilities Company of Delaware. It also seeks a 25 year franchise to build and operate lines and poles within the town with city rate controls and street lighting terms.
