Unique willow basket display by Pleasant township pupils
Pupils at Pleasant township rural school No. 3 will exhibit willow twig baskets at the county fair August 20 to 25. Taught by Ada Groesbeck, the baskets were gathered in spring and woven during class. Lenox locals visit. man dies after fall from Burlington train
Local L. C. Seeley and daughter Ethel of Lenox were here yesterday. A man thought to be John Novak of Chicago fell from a Burlington freight train at Red Oak and died two hours later in a Red Oak hospital. Mr. and Mrs. W N Patt and daughter Luella returned from a eastward automobile trip visiting Roscoe Patt in Reading Pennsylvania.
