Brother's Death Ends Honeymoon
Gerald Davis of Moline Minnesota saw his honeymoon cut short when his seven year old brother was killed in an automobile accident near Waterville Minnesota. Davis had worked for J. C. Penney in Creston for years and was transferred to Moline earlier this year. He and his bride had just wed last week and visited Creston on their way to the Minnesota lake region from Lamoni.

Missing Keokuk Girl Found Reunites With Father
Violet Bolander a 14 year old of Keokuk was found safe after being brought to Burlington by Aug 5. Keokuk youths Roy Leach and Howard Wylie both 25 and the girl’s father planned to meet county attorney on kidnapping charges.
