Union County Freeholders Meet at Elizabeth November 2 1911
The regular monthly meeting of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders was held at the Courthouse in Elizabeth New Jersey on November 2 1911. Members present included Directors Cydy and Freeholders Acken Rourden Crash Darby Doane Pay Groener Hall Hennesty Jones Krouse Meinel Perry Pierson Rampton Teller Wilbur absent. Minutes of October 5 approved. Communications from the Society for the Prevention and Relief of Tuberculosis inviting attendance later read and filed. A petition from the Township Committee of Union County requested road work on several streets and avenues including Hasen county line to Lordship of Lion. The Mountainside Borough clerk reported road congestion on the Springfield County Road and proposed remedies.
