Special Meeting Called by First Presbyterian Church

A special meeting of the congregation is set for Saturday October 19 at 3 o'clock to authorize trustees to sell part or all of the parsonage land south of Brainerd Cemetery except the parcel reserved earlier facing Main road between Parsonage lane and D W Clayton lot. Steinbach's Fall Opening at Asbury Park store marks its greatest yearly sale starting Saturday October 19 with a sale the following week.

Birthday Party For Miss Ida Belle McDougall

Mr and Mrs Walter McDougall plan a large birthday party for their daughter Ida Belle to honor her eighteenth birthday with green and white decorations. Woman Shot by Stray Bullet in Lindeneau County Seat

New Brunswick reports Mrs. William Latham was shot in the back by a stray bullet while walking on Fox's lane. Authorities say the shot came from foreigners reportedly shooting at a target. Also noted are a limousine collision near Long Branch injuring Mr. and Mrs. Davidson with serious injuries and a fire on J. H. Goodwin's porch extinguished by neighbors. Embroidery Club elects officers in Dayton. a Pie Social is planned October 21.
