TRE CHURCHES PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS

Middlesex County Vocational School opens in Cranbury December through February offering agriculture millinery and dressmaking with Miss Kayser teaching millinery and evening schedules to be announced. Local families including the Grovers and several others enjoyed a three day automobile trip to Delaware Water Gap Port Jervis and Newburgh.

Junior Y M C A Organizes at Cranbury Meeting
A Junior Y M C A for Cranbury was organized at a Tuesday evening gathering at W R B Silvers residence. Bergen Petty was elected president and Douglass Chamberlin vice president. Other members include Enos Hutchinson John Campbell Albert Barclay Newell Davis Harold ONeil Teddy Davison Nelson Hamilton Ernest Walker. The first meeting will be next Monday at 7 PM in Odd Fellows Hall. Samuel Bennett is leader with Symmes H Perrine as assistant.

Selections by Moszkowski, Rubenstein, Arensky, Cadman, Reichardt, and Gaynor showcased both piano and vocal talents. The Farther Lights Mission Band of Hightstown Baptist Church met with Miss Helen F. Jemison, sharing a social hour after refreshments with attendees listed.

The Princeton Chapter of the American Red Cross invites workers and friends to monthly four o clock meetings at headquarters with reports and a program. Classes in Elementary Hygiene and House Care of the Sick start November 11 at University infirmary. lectures three times weekly for five weeks begin Monday Wednesday and Friday at two pm. Tuition is 3 dollars. Additional courses include First Aid Home Dietetics and Surgical Dressings. Urgent need for Comfort Bags for sailors and soldiers. contributions requested by November 20 to any Red Cross Auxiliary member.
