At the sixty second annual conclave of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia a resolution passed banning men connected with the liquor trade from membership in any Pennsylvania commandery by about a three to one vote.

Under the State Board of Agriculture, a field day for New Jersey farmers will be hosted at J. S. Frelinghuysen’s Raritan Valley Farms near Somerville on June 19 1915. Speakers include Dr H W Collingwood editor of the Rural New Yorker and an official from Washington DCs Department of Agriculture.

Juvenile Literary Club Forms Under Mrs Lewis

Oilcloth Plant at Yardville Destroyed by Fire

A fire gutted the Chandler Oilcloth Company plant at Yardville shortly before noon Tuesday. The main 300 foot long, two story building collapsed as flames consumed the interior. Loss is expected to reach 340,000.

Alumni Meet Promises Homecoming At State Normal School

The Twenty-seventh Annual Meet of the Alumni Association will be held at the State Schools in Trenton on Saturday June 19 1915 marking the sixtieth anniversary of the alma mater. Activities include a tour of new rooms a luncheon and a reception and business meeting in the Auditorium. Dues are set at twenty five cents. Mrs Richard Rowland of Dayton died Sunday night at St Peters Hospital after a general breakdown. She leaves two daughters and two sons and the funeral was held at her home Wednesday afternoon.
