Recruiting party for Company G in Cranbury

A recruitment event for Company G of the Freehold Infantry will be held at Odd Fellows Hall in Cranbury on Wednesday June 27 at 8 15 P M. Speakers include Father Milbank and Lieut Richard A Smith. The event aims to fill 16 enlistments to reach war strength and feature a Boy Scouts Band concert. The piece notes Cranbury boys are welcome to join and recalls past scrappy matches with Freehold.

Aunt Ann Hoffman dies at 87 in Jamesburg home

Phebe Ann Hoffman known as Aunt Ann died Sunday at her granddaughter Mrs. Thomas J. Douglass home in Jamesburg. She was daughter of the late Daniel Bennett and wife of Godfrey Hoffman. Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 o'clock from her Jamesburg home with Rev. Henry Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Hoffman cemetery at Englishtown conducted by A.S. Cole, Son & Co.

Mrs Fanny Snow Bolles Dies in California at 46

Amos Bolles announces the death of his wife Fanny Snow Bolles of Hollister California aged 46. She formerly lived in Cranbury and is survived by her husband. The body will be shipped to Cranbury to the home of her mother Mrs Emma Snow with funeral arrangements to be announced later.

Deaths and a Bishop Pass Away In Trenton District

James Perrine aged about sixty died at his Jamesburg home after an illness of a year, dropsy the direct cause. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Rev Henry Johnson officiating, with interment in Dayton Cemetery. Right Reverend James A McFaul, bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Trenton, died Saturday at the episcopal residence in North Warren Street after a general breakdown. Solomon's Temple details note its fourth year of reign and completion seven years later, with a 600 foot square enclosure and two brazen pillars named Jachin and Boaz at the porch.

Fourth of July Prizes and Big Prize List
