Caveat Heard in Probate of Ellen Griggs Will
Judge fixed July 30 to hear testimony on the caveat against probating Ellen E. Griggs will after her death in Dayton. The will dated November 21, 1889, names executors George D. Van Derveer and C. S. Rowland and test witnesses A. P. Deane and F. S. Van Derveer. Elizabeth J. Grigg, Henry M. Griggs, and David H. Griggs filed the caveat. The estate is about 1600 dollars with specific bequests to cemeteries, churches, and family members.
