Cottrell 75, former Cranbury resident, died at Red Bank on Saturday July 3. Funeral held July 7 at her son Charles Cottrells home 55 Waverley Red Bank. Interment South River.

Hightstown hosts the first tri county meeting to organize a Central Jersey Eye Laying and Breeding Station near the junction of three counties. Delegates from Middlesex Monmouth and Mercer counties elect officers form committees and plan a July 17 gathering at Farsgate Farms to promote a state funded 18000 dollar project.

An Egg Laying Station campaign launch is planned with speakers from Mercer and Monmouth counties. Picnic lunch at noon. Forsgate Farms about one mile west of Jamesburg offers tours. Autos travel via Dayton Cranbury or Jamesburg, shuttle from Trenton Fast Line in Dayton at 10 and 11 AM. Meeting 11:30 AM Eastern time.
