Plainsboro school announces December honor roll with students Olive Bolles Eugene Potts Gertrude Samourich Cora White Clare Johnson William Coward. Local events include Christian Endeavor meeting Make Bold Beginnings led by Mrs. Jane Dey, Circle gathering January 20 with Mrs. E Barclay, and Billy Sunday talks at Princeton.
The annual election of Directors at the First National Bank of Granby re elected all members including William J. Rowland Andrew Ely Walter B Grover and others. John B Silvers was chosen president and George B Mershon cashier. A banquet followed with readings and speeches praising the bank’s flourishing condition and prosperity.
Mr and Mrs Amzi A Duncan hosted Saturday night at Maple Shade farm Cranbury for their daughter Sadie V Blackwell celebrating her eighteenth birthday with about fifty guests. Red and green decor and games with Edna Davison winning first prize and George Perrine taking consolation marked the event. Van Kirk’s orchestra provided music and dancing followed refreshments. Blackwell, a Princeton high senior, is noted as a scholar and musician popular with peers in Princeton Cranbury and Rosedale.
At a 1914 year end meeting stockholders chose H. W. Jeffers J. V. B. Wicoff W.S. Grover Sylvanus Grover H. N. Scott Frank R. Adams J. V. D. Perrine Howard Jemison Forman A. Updike as directors for 1915. The board then reorganized naming H. W. Jeffers president J. W. B. Wicoff vice president Frank R. Adams secretary Walter S. Grover treasurer and manager.

William Fleming age seventy, brother of Sheriff J Warren Fleming of Mercer county, was struck on the head while helping unload poles on Pennington road Monday afternoon and died from a fractured skull. J Fleming Errickson, aiding him, fainted from the shock and is under a physician’s care at home.
Job 8. Rogers head of J. J. Rogers & Son funeral directors of Hightstown dies at home after rheumatic illness. He was 75, survived by his widow, two children Elmer J. Rogers and Mrs Albert Brown, plus one grandson George Heron. Funeral today at 2 from his home with Methodist Episcopal Church services, burial in Cedar Hill cemetery. Ivins & Tayler in Trenton directing.
Jason Mortimore, lifelong Jamesburg resident, was buried Saturday at Old Tennent Cemetery following death Thursday in Jefferson Hospital Philadelphia after a long illness from Brights disease. He served 16 years as a bookkeeper at the State Home for Boys.

Mrs Mary Peppler of Hightstown wife of Thomas Peppler died at her home on Wednesday. She leaves one son Samuel Peppler. The funeral will be held from her late home tomorrow at 11 o clock.
Dr. Richard R. Rogers of Trenton died at his home on Thursday in his ninety second year. He was a prominent Mercer county businessman, politician, and physician with a long local record.
Dominic Clark of Dayton officiated as two couples wed during Tuesday’s storm. Ella Jolly, daughter of Isaac Jolly of Plainsboro, wed Howard Boon of Darby PA, while Isaac Jolly’s sister Misa Elia Jolly, now Misa Elsie Goodwin of Plainsboro, married the Boon. Both brides wore blue traveling suits with matching hats. Mr and Mrs Isaac Jolly plan Plainsboro residence. Mr and Mrs Howard Boon will live in Darby where Boon is a chauffeur.
The House rejected national woman suffrage by 204 to 174 on Tuesday night. Antis hailed the result as decisive though a shift of sixteen votes would flip the outcome in the next effort. The resolution drew more support than many expected.
