The Willing Workers Mission Band meets Sunday at 3 PM in the First Presbyterian chapel with a program on Our Little Red Neighbors led by Margaret Perrine and Lucille Chamberlin. The Fruit Gleaners entertainment at Second Presbyterian featured The Minister's Wife, a flag drill by sixteen boys, piano solos by Arthur Burroughs, and soprano singing by Mies Hattie Lewis. ice cream and cake sales netted over thirty dollars. A Pioneer Grange No 1 debate on whether business opportunities were greater fifty years ago than now will be held next Tuesday February 27 at 8 45 PM with debaters H J Butcher D W Clayton Walter Havens and Charles Groves. the public is invited.

A large group of local youths gathered Friday at William Deys house for a surprise party with progressive games won by Walter Dey and a consolation prize to Joseph Dey. Bold Hold-Up Near Cranbury Leaves Victim Unconscious
Joseph S. Petty son of William H. Petty, Sr., was held up and robbed near Cranbury while driving from Jamesburg. Two men attacked his wagon at Stuirs Corner, one grabbed the horse, the other demanded money. He was knocked senseless, robbed of cash, and left in the road until five. Petty was cared for at Thomas Conway’s house before returning home. A $25 reward is offered for the perpetrators.
