A westbound Montclair express rounded the curve, and Thomas pulled her clear just before the train passed.
Jacob Crown and his father Abram of Branchville avoided Manor selling places due to Guardian's list. They traveled to Newton for marketing and liquor. Losing tickets and money, they were put off near Augusta, separated, with Abram returning home.
