Xmas entertainment by Methodist Sunday school program
The Methodist Sunday school held its Xmas entertainment Tuesday evening at the church featuring singing, readings by Bessie Wilson Isabelle Oehler Karl Puerschner and others, solos, dialogues, and a gift distribution by Santa Society. The Y P C A of the Second Presbyterian church elected officers for the ensuing year: Miss Della Bergen president David Lewis vice president Mary Spaulding secretary Ernest Campbell treasurer Arthur L Burroughs pianist. Edward W Walker appointed postmaster of Cranbury by President Wilson, a Democrat noted for faithful party service.

Reading Circle Christmas Program Features Readings and Carols
The Reading Circle held a Wednesday meeting with Mrs. Mershon featuring a Christmas character program. Mrs. Curry spoke on Madonnas history and showed copies of famous paintings. Mrs. J. D. Chamberlin read a poem and Mrs. W. R. Silvers presented a Christmas story. A ladies quartet sang carols. The next meeting is set for Saturday January 2. Ongoing millinery sale at Mrs. E. Harder offers hats and novelties through the month.
