Remembering Miss Cole a Cranbury childhood resident dies at home
Misa Harriet Blaine Cole aged over 98, longtime Cranbury resident and former dressmaker, died at her home Sunday after a long life marked by faith in the First Presbyterian Church, musical talent, and independence. She lived alone in South Cranbury for twenty years, never married, and kept her age records private. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Presbyterian chapel with Rev. J. B. Curry officiating. The Cranbury Book Club's reorganization is now active, with members listed. The Hightstown Driving Association reports track improvements and a large entry list for four races on Saturday August 28. Additional notes cover church Sunday school programs and local notices about residents and events.
